ON VACATION….WAIT, WHAT?!

hat’s right. For the first time in….well, longer than I care to admit…I’m taking a real honest to God vacation. My wife and I celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary on the 21st of April, so in celebration we are taking the kids to see my in-laws (read “the coolest people on earth”) in Kansas City, Missouri for 10 days. As a present to us they are getting us a room at a local historic hotel for an evening, but also taking the kids for a night and day. Anyone out there who has kids knows that this gift is worth more than it’s weight in gold, so we are SERIOUSLY grateful.

Now, as you can imagine I will be incommunicado for a while. Though my phone is always with me, I’ve promised the wife to check it as little as possible. Though, I’m sure my Instagram feed will be exploding with photos of all the sexy downtown architecture. So, till I get back to life on earth – cheers. 🙂
